How to Impress a Recruiter in an Interview

October 4, 2016

There's a reason that so much career advice centers around the job interview: it's your one opportunity to make an impression in a face-to-face setting with the person who is standing between you and the whatever life goal you're hoping to achieve by landing the job. Regardless of that person's position, if they're part of the interview chain, they have the potential to make or break the process for you—so knowing how to impress them is a crucial part of the process, no matter how qualified for the position you happen to be.

In this video, from Atrium Staffing, several recruiters break down what they're looking for in a candidate during those face to face meetings. Check it out—it's 3 minutes that could make a world of difference the next time you have an interview.

  • “I recently started working with CLS Legal Staffing as we had a need to hire a paralegal and our current methods of recruiting were not meeting our needs. Simone at CLS assisted us with the search and we ended up hiring one of the candidates they presented to us. Since then, we are now using them for two additional searches. CLS was efficient in their search and presented quality candidates.”
